First Officer (A320) - Assessment Event in Rome

These assessments are scheduled to take place on the 26th, 27th, and 28th of July. The airline is actively seeking qualified First Officers to join its growing A320 fleet.

Compensation and Benefits

The airline offers a competitive annual package, comprising basic salary, flying pay, housing allowance to secure a home of choice, and layover and meal allowances. There is the opportunity to earn up to 513,732 AED (approximately USD 138,318) tax-free per annum, based on flying approximately 75 hours per month. Annual increments to the salary are based on performance. Additional benefits include:

The Role

As a First Officer on the A320 fleet, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting flights in compliance with the current flight plan, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Captain's instructions when not at the controls. The First Officer notifies the Captain of any changes to the flight plan, air traffic control instructions, or geographical position upon their return to control.
• Assisting the Captain with administrative duties related to the flight as requested.
• Confirming the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check upon both the geographical position of the aircraft and ensuring safe terrain and weather clearance.
• Maintaining high personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the airline at all times.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this First Officer position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time.
• A minimum of 1500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit (aircraft with a Flight Management System coupled to an Automatic Pilot Flight Director System) or high-performance military jet.
• A minimum of 500 hours on one of the A320 Family aircraft.
• Must have flown any Airbus Fly-By-Wire aircraft within the last 12 months.
• A valid A320 Type Rating at the time of joining, valid for a minimum of 2 months.
• Holds a current and unrestricted ICAO Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). Frozen ATPL is not accepted unless held by a UAE citizen.
• Must be current on the A320 aircraft.
• Holds an unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate.
• Maximum age limit is 50 years old.
• Achieved English Language Fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or better.
• For hours accumulated on flights with in-flight relief, 75% of the total hours will be counted towards the required minimums.
