Captain A320 (Non-Type Rated)
Etihad Airways is seeking experienced professionals to join its flight operations team as a Captain for the A320 fleet. Role Overview
The Captain holds ultimate authority for the safe, secure, and efficient operation of the aircraft. Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining the safety and security of all crew, passengers, cargo, and the aircraft.

Exercising full command of the aircraft from taxi-out through final engine shutdown.

Providing leadership to flight and cabin crew through effective decision-making and crew resource management.

Operating flights with efficiency and environmental responsibility, adhering to fuel and sustainability policies.

Upholding the airline’s commitment to on-time performance, reliability, and guest satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for the position of Captain A320 (Non-type Rated), applicants must meet the following criteria:

A minimum of 7,000 hours total flying time.

A minimum of 4,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-crew, glass cockpit aircraft (defined as an aircraft with a Flight Management System coupled to an Automatic Flight Director System).

Hold an unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL.

Hold an unrestricted and current Class 1 medical certificate.

Must not have attained the age of 59 years on the date of joining.

English language fluency (written and verbal) at ICAO Level 4 or higher.

For flight hours accumulated with in-flight relief, 75% of total hours will be counted toward the minimum requirement.

Possession of a current Type Rating Examiner (TRE) or Type Rating Instructor (TRI) qualification is considered an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
Etihad offers a competitive, tax-free package based in Abu Dhabi. The annual potential earnings are up to AED 674,029 (USD 181,589), based on 75 flying hours per month. This package includes a basic salary, flying pay, housing allowance, and layover/meal allowances, along with performance-based annual increments.
