Pier Seven Aviation, a leading EASA and GCAA approved simulator training facility located in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking experienced A320 Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFI) and Synthetic Flight Examiners (SFE) to join its dynamic training department. This role offers both freelance and permanent opportunities, focusing on delivering high-quality flight simulator training for pilots.
About the Role
The A320 SFI/SFE will be responsible for conducting comprehensive simulator training sessions, including pre and post-flight briefings, in accordance with GCAA standards. The role involves delivering flight instruction for license issuance, type ratings, and certificates, as well as providing classroom instruction on aircraft systems. Candidates will also contribute to courseware development and ensure accurate record-keeping of client training.
Requirements

GCAA (UAE) issued licence.

A valid SFI/SFE rating with recent A320 training experience within the last 2 years.

Minimum of 1,500 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on the Airbus A320.

A minimum of 3,000 total flying hours.

English language proficiency meeting ICAO Level 5.

Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.

Capacity to adapt instructional style to a diverse, global client base.
Qualifications

Experience conducting pre and post-flight simulator briefings.

Proficiency in conducting simulator sessions adhering to ATO, Aircraft Manufacturer, or customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
