The Role
As a First Officer, you are an integral member of the flight deck team, responsible for supporting the Captain in the safe, secure, and efficient operation of every flight. Candidates must demonstrate high levels of technical proficiency, professionalism, and teamwork while preparing for future command opportunities.

Assist the Captain in all aspects of flight preparation, navigation, and operation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Maintain independent monitoring of aircraft position, terrain, and weather to ensure safe navigation.

Contribute to safe decision-making through clear communication and professional support.

Uphold Etihad’s standards of discipline and personal appearance in all environments.

Assume command in the event of Captain incapacitation in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements
To be considered for the First Officer A320 (Non-type Rated) position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum of 2,500 hours total flying time.

Minimum of 1,500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit MPA aircraft (aircraft with an FMS coupled to APFDS).

Unrestricted ATPL or valid frozen ATPL issued by an ICAO member state. (Note: Holders of frozen ATPL must present ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Exam results and an integrated ATPL course completion certificate).

Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical.

Must not have attained the age of 50 on the day of joining.

English language fluency (written and verbal) at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
Compensation and Benefits
