Fly Jinnah: A320 Pilot Opportunity
Fly Jinnah, Pakistan's newest airline, seeks experienced A320 Type-rated pilots for a rewarding fixed-term contract opportunity. This position is exclusively available to eligible foreign nationals.
Contract Details:
This is a 15-month fixed-term contract, renewable upon mutual agreement. The contract encompasses an approximate three-month initial training period followed by twelve months of operational flight duties.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform the duties of Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring, collaborating with the Captain to manage flight deck operations, monitor flight progress, ensure efficient systems operation, and oversee the performance of other cockpit crew members. Responsibilities include:
- Adherence to the airline's Operations Manual and all relevant regulations, prioritizing safe and efficient aircraft operation at all times.
- Pre-flight coordination with the Captain and Dispatch Team to ensure comprehensive briefing and preparation for all flight and cabin crew members, encompassing aircraft status, route preferences, weather conditions, fuel requirements, weight distribution, and role assignments.
- Accurate recording and documentation of flight data, including take-off data, fuel requirements, and Air Traffic Services flight plans.
- Utilization of established systems and forms (logbook, CFP, etc.) for data recording, verification, and Captain's signature acquisition.
- At locations lacking qualified personnel, fuel type verification and supervision of aircraft fueling, guaranteeing proper fuel distribution.
- Prompt notification of the Captain regarding any irregularities or adverse conditions that may compromise safety, implementing necessary corrective actions as directed and assisting the crew in managing safety or security incidents.
- Undertaking additional ground-based duties, such as Safety Officer or Security Officer, as designated by the Head of Flight Operations and in accordance with the airline's Operations Manual, Part A.
Experience and Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a minimum of 500 flight hours, with Airbus A320 experience preferred. Experience with low-cost carriers is highly desirable. A strong understanding of aircraft systems, operating procedures, and relevant safety/security protocols is essential. Familiarity with QA/safety/security/audit procedures pertinent to flight operations is also required.
