The airline offers a competitive annual package that includes basic salary, flying pay, housing allowance, and layover and meal allowances. Pilots have the potential to earn up to 513,732 AED (USD 138,318) tax-free per year based on 75 hours of flying per month. Annual salary increments are based on performance. Responsibilities:
- Conduct flights in compliance with current flight plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Captain's instructions.
- When not at the controls, notify the Captain of any changes to the flight plan, Air Traffic Control (ATC) instructions, or geographical position upon their return.
- Assist the Captain with administrative duties related to the flight as requested.
- Confirm the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check on the aircraft's geographical position to ensure safe terrain and weather clearance.
- Maintain a high personal standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Etihad Airways at all times.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time.
- A minimum of 1500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit (aircraft with a Flight Management System (FMS) coupled to Automatic Pilot Flight Director System (APFDS)), or high-performance military jet.
- 500 hours should be on one of the Airbus A320 Family.
- Experience flying any Airbus Fly-By-Wire (FBW) aircraft within the last 12 months.
- A320 type rating valid for a minimum of 2 months at the time of joining.
- ICAO current and unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Frozen ATPLs are not accepted unless held by a UAE citizen.
- Current A320 rating.
- Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate.
- Maximum age limit of 50 years old.
- English Language Fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or better.
- In cases of hours accumulated on flights with in-flight relief, 75% of the total hours shall be counted towards the required minimums.
