Key Responsibilities:

The First Officer operates within a multi-crew environment, contributing significantly to the safety and efficiency of flight operations. Primary duties include:

• Conducting flights in strict compliance with the current flight plan, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Captain's instructions.
• When not at the controls, monitoring the flight progress and notifying the Captain of any changes to the flight plan, Air Traffic Control instructions, or geographical position upon their return to duty.
• Providing necessary assistance to the Captain regarding administrative duties related to the flight.
• Ensuring the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining continuous and independent checks on the aircraft's geographical position to guarantee safe terrain and weather clearance.
• Maintaining the highest personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the airline at all times.

Compensation & Benefits:

The airline offers a competitive annual package. This includes basic salary, flying pay, a housing allowance enabling pilots to secure their preferred accommodation, and layover/meal allowances. The potential annual earnings can reach up to 513,732 AED (approximately USD 138,318) tax-free, based on typical flying hours (e.g., 75 hours per month). Annual salary increments are provided based on performance. Additional benefits include:

Required Qualifications:

To be considered for the First Officer role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a minimum of 2500 hours total flying time.
• Have a minimum of 1500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit (1), or high-performance military jet aircraft.
• Hold a minimum of 500 hours specifically on aircraft within the A320 Family.
• Have flown any Airbus Fly-by-Wire (FBW) aircraft within the last 12 months.
• Hold a valid type rating on the A320, current for a minimum of two months at the time of potential joining.
• Hold a current, unrestricted ICAO Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). Frozen ATPLs are not accepted unless held by a UAE citizen.
• Be current on the A320 aircraft type.
• Hold an unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate.
• Be a maximum of 50 years old at the time of application.
• Demonstrate English Language Fluency (written and verbal) at ICAO Level 4 or better.
• For hours accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours will be counted towards the required minimums.

(1) Glass Cockpit is defined as aircraft equipped with a Flight Management System (FMS) coupled to an Automatic Flight Director System (AFDS).
