This aviation professional must possess a minimum of 2500 hours of total flying time. They should have at least 1500 hours of experience in multi-crew, glass cockpit (defined as an aircraft with a Flight Management System coupled to Automatic Pilot Flight Director System), or high-performance military jet operations. Furthermore, the candidate must have accrued 500 hours specifically on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. The applicant is required to hold a current and unrestricted ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL); frozen ATPLs are not accepted unless held by a citizen of the United Arab Emirates. Current type rating on the A320 is mandatory. The candidate must hold an unrestricted and current Class 1 medical certificate. The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years old. Demonstrable English language fluency, both written and verbal, at Level 4 or higher is essential. For flight hours accumulated with in-flight relief, 75% of the total hours will be counted toward the required minimums.
