Responsibilities
As a Simulator Pilot Instructor, you will play a crucial role in training and developing Envoy's pilots by:
- Delivering high-quality, standardized Integrated Procedures Training and Advanced Simulator Training to pilots participating in initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent training courses.
- Implementing the Advanced Qualification Program, ensuring pilots meet the highest standards.
- Adhering to Instructor Lesson Plans to prepare students for aircraft certification.
- Evaluating student progress and performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Preparing and submitting training documents and reports after completion.
- Maintaining instructor standardization and collaborating with other instructors to ensure consistency in training.
- Engaging in 20-30% travel, with per diem or meal expense provided for trips away from the home base.
Qualifications
Candidates for this position must possess:
- A minimum age of 21.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- At least one (1) year of experience as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or Second-in-Command (SIC) on a turbojet aircraft.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- The ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off (with 10 days off per month).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience flying the EMB 175 aircraft.
- Prior instructor experience.
