Position Summary
The Commercial Airline Operations Concierge Specialist is instrumental in ensuring the complete welfare and seamless travel experience for passengers on Part 121 flights. This pivotal role involves comprehensive coordination of all flight-related aspects, including but not limited to catering, commissary services, passenger manifests, gate and boarding procedures, passenger identification verification, and the delivery of VIP inflight service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated Concierge for assigned NHL and/or MLB teams throughout their respective seasons, including playoff periods.
- Staff designated PJS Part 121 and select Part 135 flights as required.
- Deliver exceptional A+ VIP inflight service on all assigned flights.
- Collaborate with the VP Commercial Airline Operations to meticulously monitor aircraft and crew schedules, ensuring strict adherence to team itineraries and client expectations.
- Perform quality control checks on all operational aspects, including customs, catering, ground handling, and security protocols.
- Maintain a 24/7 on-call availability to provide staffing support for Part 121 operations.
- Coordinate effectively with relevant Sales and Operations teams to fulfill trip-specific requirements.
- Work closely with Large Group Charter (LGC) management on all Part 121 operations, encompassing VVIP, large group, NCAA, and ad hoc flight arrangements.
- Provide support to other departments as needed, with the approval of the VP, Commercial Airline Operations.
- Complete airline Flight Attendant training and obtain certification for the designated partner airline.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability to manage a diverse range of duties and tasks efficiently.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in inflight service and underwing operations.
- Proficiency in essential software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and a flight operating system.
- Availability to work weekends and nights, including responding to after-hours calls.
- Capacity to embody and promote the company culture and serve as a brand ambassador for PJS.
- Demonstrated skill in managing a demanding roster of high-profile clients.
- A strong sense of initiative and a self-driven work ethic.
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized professional approach.
- Uphold a high degree of confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
- Familiarity with Private Charter Standard Security Program (PCSSP) or Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program (AOSSP) is advantageous.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in Part 121 operations (brokerage, operator) in a ground service, dispatch, or similar capacity.
- Experience in inflight service or a comparable high-end restaurant or hospitality background.
Schedule and Travel Requirements
- Schedule is contingent upon flight assignments.
- Extensive travel is required, potentially up to 80% of the time.

- FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt.
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Travel Documentation: Must possess a valid US Passport and be able to travel to and from Canada without restriction.
