The Opportunity: Flight Attendant

Key Responsibilities
- Participates in comprehensive pre-flight briefings, generates essential reports, conducts thorough safety checks, and meticulously prepares the aircraft for departure.
- Ensures the adequate stocking and appropriate delivery of food, beverages, and other in-flight supplies. Manages payment collection and inventories supplies for restocking as required.
- Delivers professional in-flight announcements, warmly greets passengers, verifies boarding passes, addresses passenger inquiries, assists with baggage stowage, and provides support to those requiring special assistance.
- Conducts comprehensive safety demonstrations, educates passengers on the proper use of emergency equipment, explains exit row seating requirements, and operates audio equipment effectively.
- Pervasively monitors aisles to ensure passenger compliance with federal aviation regulations during take-offs and landings, while also conducting periodic checks to enhance passenger comfort throughout the flight.
- Prepares passengers and the aircraft for landing, strictly adhering to established company procedures and federal aviation regulations.
- Responds adeptly to all in-flight emergencies, providing crucial direction and assistance to passengers, including administering emergency first aid and accurately completing injury/incident reports.
- Completes and submits all mandatory forms, reports, and documentation with precision and timeliness.
- Interacts with all customers and vendors with the utmost courtesy and respect, fostering positive relationships.
- Performs additional responsibilities and duties as assigned to support operational excellence and in-flight customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Possession of a valid US Passport, with a minimum validity of six (6) months from the date of application.
- Availability to work a minimum of eighteen (18) days per month.
- A minimum educational attainment of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Ability to successfully pass all required drug and alcohol screenings, including a pre-employment Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test, and a comprehensive Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
- Must possess and maintain a personal cell phone for communication purposes.
- Demonstrated fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
- Ability to responsibly serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with regulations.
- Proven customer service experience is essential; prior experience in hospitality or retail sectors is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel to Canada and other international destinations.
- Must maintain valid travel documents without any impediments preventing entry to all required international destinations.
- Physical capability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and/or bend for extended periods of up to 14 hours or more.
- Flexibility to work variable blocks of duty days each month, which may include extended periods away from the home base, encompassing nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability to attend and successfully complete mandatory Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience programs.
- Commitment to maintaining a polished, professional, and conservative appearance while on duty.
- Strict adherence to the company policy prohibiting visible tattoos or body piercings while on duty, without exception.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment.
Location
Candidates must reside within a two (2) hour commuting distance of Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport (GRK).
