Position Summary
Eastern Air Express seeks dedicated and service-oriented individuals to join its team as Flight Attendants. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings, generate necessary reports, perform comprehensive safety checks, and ensure aircraft readiness.
- Manage the stocking and appropriate delivery of all in-flight provisions, including food, beverages, and other supplies. This includes collecting payments and documenting inventory for restocking purposes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers, verifying boarding passes, making clear announcements, addressing inquiries, assisting with baggage stowage, and offering support to those requiring special assistance.
- Deliver comprehensive safety demonstrations, educate passengers on emergency equipment usage and exit row seating requirements, and operate audio equipment effectively.
- Ensure passenger compliance with federal regulations during take-offs and landings, and conduct periodic cabin checks to maintain optimal passenger comfort.
- Prepare passengers and the aircraft for landing in strict adherence to company procedures and federal aviation regulations.
- Effectively respond to in-flight emergencies by providing clear direction and assistance to passengers, administering emergency first aid, and completing detailed injury/incident reports.
- Accurately complete and submit all required forms, reports, and administrative documentation.
- Maintain the highest standards of courtesy and respect in all interactions with customers and vendors.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned to support cabin operations and overall service excellence.
Qualification Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possession of a valid US Passport, with a minimum of six months remaining until expiration.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Successful completion of all pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings, including a DOT drug test, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
- Ability to possess and maintain a personal cell phone.
- Fluent in spoken, written, and comprehended English.
- Ability to legally serve alcoholic beverages.
- Prior customer service experience is required; experience in hospitality or retail is preferred.
- Availability for a minimum of eighteen (18) days per month.
- Ability to travel internationally, including to Canada, and maintain valid travel documents without any impediments preventing entry to all required international destinations.
- Physical capability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and/or bend for extended periods, potentially 14 hours or more.
- Flexibility to work variable duty blocks each month, including potential extended periods away from the home base, encompassing nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to attend and successfully complete all required Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.
- Adherence to a polished, professional, and conservative appearance standard.
- Absence of visible tattoos or body piercings while on duty, without exception.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure within a dynamic aviation environment.
Work Location
Candidates must reside within a two-hour commute of Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.
