Flight Attendant - Eastern Airlines, LLC
Eastern Airlines seeks a dedicated and service-oriented professional to join their team as a Flight Attendant. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in preflight briefings, generate reports, conduct safety checks, and prepare the aircraft.
- Ensure adequate stock of food, beverages, and supplies, manage inventory, and handle payments as needed.
- Greet passengers, verify boarding passes, make announcements, assist with bag stowage, and address passenger inquiries.
- Deliver safety demonstrations, instruct passengers on emergency equipment and exit row requirements, and operate audio equipment.
- Monitor passenger compliance with regulations before takeoffs and landings and conduct regular comfort checks.
- Prepare passengers and aircraft for landing according to company protocols and federal regulations.
- Respond to in-flight emergencies, providing direction, administering first aid, and completing incident reports.
- Complete all necessary forms, reports, and paperwork.
- Treat all customers and vendors with courtesy and respect.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid US Passport with at least six months of validity remaining.
- Minimum availability of twenty (20) days per month.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol checks, pre-employment DOT drug test, and Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
- Must possess and maintain a personal cell phone.
- Fluency in spoken, read, written, and understood English.
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Customer service experience is required, with hospitality or retail experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to Canada.
- Must maintain valid travel documents permitting entry to all international destinations.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, stretching, and bending for extended periods up to 14 hours or more.
- Ability to work varied duty schedules, including possible extended periods, and be away from the home base, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability to attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.
- Must maintain a polished, professional, and conservative appearance.
- No visible tattoos or body piercings are permitted while on duty.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
