Flight Attendant Position – Eastern Airlines

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in pre-flight briefings, safety checks, and aircraft preparation.
- Manage onboard supplies (food, beverages, etc.), including inventory control and payment processing.
- Greet passengers, verify boarding passes, provide assistance, and answer passenger inquiries.
- Conduct safety demonstrations, explain emergency procedures, and utilize onboard audio equipment.
- Monitor passenger compliance with regulations and ensure passenger comfort throughout the flight.
- Prepare passengers and the aircraft for landing, adhering to company and federal regulations.
- Respond to in-flight emergencies, administer first aid when necessary, and file comprehensive incident reports.
- Maintain meticulous records and submit all required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Provide courteous and respectful service to all passengers and vendors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid U.S. passport with a minimum of six months validity remaining.
- Minimum twenty (20) days of monthly availability.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum age of twenty-one (21) years.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol screenings, pre-employment DOT drug testing, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
- Personal cell phone required.
- Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Proven customer service experience; experience in hospitality or retail preferred.
- Ability to travel to Canada and maintain valid travel documents for unrestricted international travel.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and maintain physical stamina for extended periods (up to 14 hours or more) involving standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, stretching, and bending.
- Adaptability to variable work schedules, including extended periods, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful completion of Eastern Airlines' Flight Attendant training program.
- Maintenance of a polished, professional, and conservative appearance; visible tattoos and body piercings are not permitted while on duty.
- Ability to multitask effectively and work calmly under pressure in a dynamic environment.
