Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Flight Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers by:
- Participating in pre-flight briefings, safety checks, and aircraft preparation.
- Ensuring the availability and proper distribution of food, beverages, and other supplies.
- Greeting customers, verifying boarding passes, and assisting with baggage stowage.
- Performing safety demonstrations, instructing passengers on emergency equipment and exit row seating requirements, and utilizing audio equipment.
- Monitoring passenger compliance with federal regulations and conducting periodic checks to ensure passenger comfort.
- Preparing customers and aircraft for landing, adhering to company procedures and federal regulations.
- Responding to in-flight emergencies by providing necessary direction and assistance to passengers, administering first aid when necessary, and completing injury/incident reports.
- Completing and submitting required forms, reports, and paperwork.
- Treating all customers and vendors with courtesy and respect.
- Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A valid US Passport, not expiring within 6 months.
- Availability for a minimum of eighteen (18) days per month.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- A minimum age of 21 years.
- The ability to pass drug and alcohol checks, a pre-employment DOT drug test, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
- Ownership and maintenance of a personal cell phone.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- The ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Prior experience in customer service; hospitality or retail experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel to Canada.
- Valid travel documents with no impediments to entry into all international destinations.
- The ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and/or bend for periods of up to 14 hours or more.
- Availability to work variable blocks of duty days each month, including extended periods.
- Willingness to be away from home base, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability to attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.
- A polished, professional, and conservative appearance.
- No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed while on duty, with no exceptions.
- The ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
