The Role
Eastern Air Express is seeking dedicated and service-oriented Flight Attendants to join our team. As a Flight Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall satisfaction of our passengers. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires a high level of professionalism, a commitment to teamwork, and the flexibility of an open schedule.
Responsibilities
- Participate in preflight briefings, complete reports, conduct safety checks, and prepare the aircraft for flight.
- Manage onboard supplies, including food and beverages, ensuring adequate stock and appropriate delivery. Collect payments and maintain inventory as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service: make announcements, greet passengers, verify boarding passes, assist with baggage, and respond to passenger inquiries.
- Conduct safety demonstrations, instruct passengers on emergency procedures and equipment, and utilize onboard audio systems.
- Enforce federal regulations and ensure passenger compliance during taxi, takeoff, and landing. Regularly monitor the cabin to ensure passenger comfort.
- Respond effectively to in-flight emergencies, providing necessary guidance and assistance to passengers, including administering first aid and completing incident reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation by completing all required forms, reports, and paperwork.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with passengers, colleagues, and vendors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisory team.
Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- A valid US Passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
- Minimum availability of 18 days per month.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment DOT drug test, along with ongoing drug and alcohol screenings.
- Ability to pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
- Possession of a personal cell phone.
- Fluency in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Legal authorization to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Prior experience in a customer service-oriented role, with preference given to candidates with experience in the hospitality or retail sectors.
- Ability to travel to Canada.
- Valid travel documents with no restrictions on entry to international destinations.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and bend for extended periods (up to 14 hours or more).
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
- Willingness to be away from home base for multiple days at a time.
- Successful completion of Initial Flight Attendant training and the Operational Experience program.
- Maintenance of a professional, polished, and conservative appearance.
- Adherence to Eastern Air Express's strict tattoo and body piercing policy, which prohibits any visible tattoos or body piercings while on duty.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
