The General Manager, Flight Attendant Hiring will oversee the hiring of quality flight attendants based on corporate and divisional goals. You will partner with Talent Acquisition, field HR, IFS Learning, Administrative Services and Crew Resources/Planning, OAP, Training Analysis, and other departments to continuously evaluate fluctuating workforce and operational needs and maintains the hiring strategy to meet those demands. This role will also lead the Hiring Manager who oversees the Special Assignment Flight Attendant Hiring Team, ensuring effective achievement of goals and objectives and support of employee development.

  • Lead an inclusive hiring experience for Flight Attendant applicants that is consistent with Delta's brand, culture, and values; oversees all day-to-day aspects of Flight Attendant hiring and creates & implements process improvements to support hiring the next generation of Delta Flight Attendants
  • Work with and support through matrix reporting, OAP Dashboard Reporting, IFS Learning Training Analysis and Support
  • Lead the Hiring Recruitment Manager to ideate and execute effective pipeline strategies and internal education programs, such as road shows, online resource development, video diaries etc., to ensure hiring peaks are filled with well-informed, qualified candidates
  • Work directly with senior leaders at AMS and Delta Talent Acquisition throughout the hiring process; fosters an integrated and collaborative team environment among all hiring stakeholders
  • Lead the Hiring Manager who oversees the Special Assignment Flight Attendant Hiring Team, ensuring effective achievement of goals and objectives and support of employee development
  • Conduct internal and external communications regarding hiring pipeline strategy; candidate feedback; recruiting and marketing efforts
  • Ensure consistent and thorough communication with TA partners regarding predictive and actual hiring numbers
  • Ensure accurate and up to date dashboard reporting of numbers through hiring process
  • Seek innovative solutions to hiring team core vs. hybrid members
  • Institute processes and documentation of year around hiring program
  • Ability to collaborate with leaders within the division and with AMS and Delta Talent Acquisition throughout the hiring process
  • Develop and recommend year-round hiring strategy for execution once approved
  • Ability to make final decisions regarding day to day hiring operation and candidate experience
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Strong knowledge of Delta Flight Attendant position required
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong performance history required
  • The ability to manage Hiring Team budget and exhibit cost analysis skills
  • Candidates for this position should have at minimum ahigh school diploma/GED
  • 10 years professional experience with history of strong performance
  • High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
  • At least 3-5 years leadership experience
  • At least 3 years of airline experience
  • HR or Talent Acquisition experience

  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years professional experience
