Flight Training Procedures Instructor
Delta Professional Services is seeking a Flight Training Procedures Instructor to conduct training modules for New Hire Pilot Indoctrination, Return to Work Pilot Reorientation, and Instructor/Evaluator Principles of Instruction (POI) courses. This individual will ensure all training adheres to company policy and Federal Aviation Regulations. The instructor's responsibilities encompass classroom facilitation, instructor-led technical training, knowledge testing, and hands-on drills.
Pilot Indoctrination and RTW instructional subjects include, but are not limited to Security, Operations Specifications, Aircraft Operating Manuals, Crew Member Duties & Responsibilities, Aircraft Performance, Weight & Balance, Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Usage, Flight Planning & Dispatch Procedures. POI subjects include Fundamental Principles of the Teaching-Learning Process; Instructional Methods, Procedures and Techniques; Evaluating Student Performance; and communication skills.
The Flight Training Procedures Instructor will conduct student progress assessments and prepare students for end-of-course examinations. This role also includes assisting with class scheduling, logistics, and communications. Furthermore, the instructor serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for e-learning and ILT program development projects and practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct training modules in accordance with company policy and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Facilitate classroom instruction, technical training, knowledge testing, and hands-on drills.
- Assess student progress and prepare students for examinations.
- Assist with class scheduling, logistics, and communications.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for e-learning and ILT program development projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security.

- High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of a two-year college degree or equivalent instructor/facilitator work experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Eligibility to obtain an FAA Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate within twelve months of hire (if not already held).
- Successful completion, or previous completion, of Delta Instructor/Evaluator Indoctrination curriculum and Academic Instructor Qualification curriculum.
- Experience as a pilot at a 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching technical, non-technical, and compliance training programs.
- Experience with air carrier training programs.
- FAA Ground Instructor Certificate with Advanced and/or Instrument Rating (AGI or IGI).
- Airline Transport Pilot certificate or Commercial Pilot certificate with Instrument Rating or military equivalent.
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor certificate or military equivalent.
