Contour Airlines is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join their team as a full-time Flight Attendant, based in Phoenix, AZ. This position offers a salary range of $34,000.00 to $42,564.91, commensurate with performance and experience. The ideal candidate will be a high school graduate or equivalent, possess exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and excellence. This position requires the ability to perform duties in a fast-paced aircraft environment and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
The Flight Attendant will perform various duties including but not limited to: ensuring passenger safety and comfort, providing exemplary customer service, assisting passengers with luggage, attending to individuals needing assistance, preparing and serving meals and beverages, maintaining professional appearance, responding to emergency situations, administering first aid, ensuring compliance with safety measures, making public address announcements, and completing detailed reports. The position requires tasks such as lifting, stowing luggage, pushing and pulling heavy carts, frequent walking, bending, and reaching. The candidate must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays with a rotating schedule that could include up to a 16-hour duty day. This role also includes exposure to allergens.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be at least 23 years of age, hold a high school diploma or GED certificate, and be authorized to work in the United States, with the ability to travel in and out of the country. A valid driver's license, a good driving record, and a valid passport are also required. The candidate must understand, read, and write English, pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing. A 10-year work history review, criminal background, and fingerprint checks are also mandatory. Successful completion of Contour's four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program is required. Candidates must have polished and professional interpersonal skills, strong leadership qualities, and be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, all while being self-motivated. The successful candidate should reside within one (1) hour of the domicile.
