Responsibilities:
- Operate within an aircraft cabin environment, strictly adhering to all established standards, policies, laws, and regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements.
- Actively ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers and deliver exemplary customer service, striving to exceed expectations.
- Assist passengers with lifting and stowing luggage in overhead bins and other storage areas.
- Provide special assistance to individuals requiring it, such as unaccompanied minors, passengers with disabilities, and the elderly, throughout aircraft operations.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.
- Respond effectively during emergency situations by implementing instructions from the flight deck and adhering to required safety and emergency procedures.
- Guide and direct passengers during emergencies, such as evacuations.
- Provide emergency medical assistance, including performing CPR and basic first aid.
- Ensure full compliance of the aircraft cabin and passengers with all policies, procedures, regulations, and safety measures.
- Make verbal public address announcements, conduct safety demonstrations, and provide clear instruction.
- Complete necessary paperwork and detailed incident reports.
- Retrieve and store items in overhead bins up to 67 inches from the floor.
- May involve exposure to common allergens present in an aircraft cabin.
- Capable of opening and closing aircraft doors and emergency exits weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Capable of pushing/pulling beverage/food carts requiring up to 32 pounds of force.
- Perform tasks requiring frequent walking, bending to ankle level, reaching above shoulder level, and reaching inside overhead bins.
- Proficiently use all galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems without supervision.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft's cabin, galley, and lavatories.
- Consistently demonstrate safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
- Complete other duties as assigned by leadership or the Pilot-in-Command.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and capable of traveling internationally.
- Requires a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Requires a valid Passport.
- Must be proficient in understanding, reading, and writing English. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
- Must successfully pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and consent to DOT-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to pass a required 10-year work history review, criminal background check, and fingerprint check.
- Successful completion of Contour Airlines' four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program is mandatory.
- Must be adaptable to a rotating schedule with variable hours, including duty days that can range from 2 to 16 hours.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

- Must reside within one hour of the assigned domicile.
Benefits:
Contour Airlines offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including health, vision, and dental coverage, short-term/long-term disability, and voluntary life insurance. Eligibility for these benefits begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. Employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) savings plan, effective the first day of the month following the hire date, with a company match up to 6%. Paid sick leave is accrued annually, and vested vacation hours are available each January 1st following the date of hire. After six active months of service, employees are eligible for non-revenue/space available travel privileges. Various leaves of absence are also available.
Compensation:
The starting annual salary for this position is $34,000. Based on performance and pay anniversary, employees are eligible for yearly increases until the salary reaches $42,564.91. Based on schedule and operational needs, employees may also be eligible for pay incentives for additional trips worked or assigned, paid in addition to the monthly salary.
