Flight Attendant (Cabin Crew) – Full-Time Position

Compensation and Employment Details
Position Type: Full-Time, Transportation Category
Education Level Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Schedule: Requires flexibility for any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours.
Compensation Note: The starting annual salary is $42,000.00, with eligibility for annual increases, based on performance and pay anniversary date, until the ceiling of $52,452.24 is reached. Employees may also qualify for additional pay incentives for extra assigned trips, based on established thresholds.

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Flight Attendant performs crucial duties both independently and as part of a crew within the aircraft environment. The role demands an exceptional focus on regulatory compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Aviation Safety, Emergency Response, and Regulatory Compliance
Strictly perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
Respond adeptly during emergency situations by effectively implementing instructions from the flight deck and executing required safety and emergency procedures.
Guide and direct passengers, verbally and non-verbally, during emergency situations, such as evacuations, to mitigate impact and protect all occupants.
Provide prompt emergency medical assistance, including performing CPR and basic first aid, to passengers in distress.
Ensure the aircraft cabin and all passengers maintain full compliance with safety measures, policies, and procedures throughout all phases of flight.
Conduct all public address announcements and complete safety demonstrations clearly and effectively.
Adhere to safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Customer Service and Cabin Operations
Provide exemplary customer service to satisfy and exceed customer expectations.
Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Utilize all galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems without supervision.
Assist passengers needing aid, including unaccompanied minors, individuals with disabilities, and the elderly.
Assist with lifting and stowing luggage (baggage, garments, and other items) into overhead bins or designated storage areas.
Maintain the professional appearance of the aircraft cabin, galley, and lavatory areas.
Restock the galley following established procedures, which includes ordering and picking up catering items, checking expiration dates on consumables, and notifying leadership when inventory stock is low.
Complete all required paperwork and detailed reports regarding incidents or discrepancies in writing.
Physical Requirements and Operational Demands
Must adjust to a rotating schedule with variable days off and variable hours, potentially including up to a 16-hour duty day.
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and must be prepared to be away from home for extended periods.
Must be capable of opening and closing aircraft doors weighing up to 60 pounds.
Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy beverage and food carts, requiring up to 32 lbs of force.
Required to retrieve and store items in overhead bins, which may be as high as 67 inches from the floor.
Required to sit in an assigned jump seat with the seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened.
Must be able to perform tasks that require frequent walking, bending to ankle level, and reaching above shoulder level.
Minimum Qualifications for the Flight Attendant Role
Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements to be considered for this critical position:
Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
Must possess authorization to work in the United States and be authorized to travel internationally.
A minimum of three (3) years of corporate Cabin Attendant experience or prior experience as a Flight Attendant is required.
Must hold a valid, unexpired passport.
Must successfully pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and submit to DOT-mandated random drug and/or alcohol testing thereafter.
Must pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to comprehensive criminal history record and fingerprint checks.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Must be able to successfully complete Contour’s intensive four (4) week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program and Initial Operating Experience.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Bilingual capability is preferred but not mandatory.
Must reside within one (1) hour of the assigned FLL base.
Must possess polished and professional interpersonal skills, strong leadership and organizational capabilities, and the ability to work unsupervised.
Must demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, maintain strong attention to detail, and communicate effectively with tact and professionalism.
