Responsibilities:
- Provide flight instruction in a simulator or flight training device in accordance with 14 CFR 121 Appendices E & H (Advanced Simulation Program).
- Certify the satisfactory completion of flight training modules and segments.
- Prepare and maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized training environment.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of specialized training programs.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance consistent with flight crewmember standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- FAA ATP - Multiengine certification.
- 1-2 years of airline operations or equivalent experience.
- Previous 121 flight crew member experience preferred.
- Prior airline or aviation classroom teaching experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Fluent in English.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, such as lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Capable of extended periods of simulator instruction.
- Comfortable working in a simulator environment, which may be noisy at times.
