CommuteAir is seeking a dedicated Flight Attendant to join our regional airline team. As a partner to United Airlines, we operate a fleet of Embraer 145 XR aircraft and are committed to fostering a culture of mentorship, growth, and professional development.
Position Overview
The Flight Attendant is responsible for performing and assisting in all inflight safety, customer service, and cabin preparation duties. This role requires seamless communication and cooperation with both flight and ground crews to ensure the highest standards of operational excellence.
Essential Functions

Maintain onboard safety standards and ensure passenger compliance with all FAA, company regulations, and policies.

Provide exceptional customer service while representing CommuteAir and our codeshare partner, United Airlines.

Complete all required checklists, paperwork, and reports in accordance with the Flight Attendant Manual.

Coordinate effectively with pilots and ground crews to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

Maintain constant readiness to address emergency situations.

Adhere to all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Flight Attendant Manual.

Perform additional duties as assigned in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
General Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum age of 21 years.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Possession of a valid United States or foreign passport with applicable VISAs, and the right to travel freely to all cities served by CommuteAir.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Satisfactory 10-year background check, including criminal history.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.

Commitment to company uniform and grooming standards (no visible tattoos or piercings, except in the ears).

Strong professionalism, mathematical skills, reading comprehension, active listening, and evaluation capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical and Environmental Requirements

Physical Demands:
Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally. Height must be between 4'11" and 5'11" (measured without shoes) due to cabin height restrictions.

Operational Maneuvers:
Must be capable of pushing and controlling a 250 lb beverage cart and maneuvering within confined spaces, including reaching, crouching, kneeling, and twisting.

Emergency Readiness:
Ability to reach and operate all emergency equipment and exits.

Sensory:
Ability to hear clearly in loud environments and meet visual acuity standards for clerical and inspection tasks.

Environment:
Exposure to varied weather conditions (ranging from below 32 to over 90 degrees), high noise levels, and cabin pressure changes.
