Aviation Captain Opportunity: Van Nuys, CA

A highly reputable Part 91 operator seeks a skilled and experienced Captain to join their team in Van Nuys, California. This is a full-time position operating a Global 6000 Vision aircraft with approximately 400 annual flight hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and excellence in flight operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $220,000 to $250,000, fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time assigned crew members, a matching 401(k) plan, paid vacation, paid sick time, 9 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, life insurance, pet insurance, identity theft protection services, employee discounts and Uber for business.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time.
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours of Turbine time.
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate required.
  • Global 6000 Vision Type Certification preferred, with a minimum of 200 hours in type; however, candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered.
  • Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Van Nuys, CA or be willing to relocate. This is not a commutable position. Relocation timeframe should be indicated on the resume or cover letter.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Must comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screening, background checks and submit to random drug/alcohol tests when required.
  • Must submit full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical, and complete a disclosure form as part of the application process.
  • Ability to perform additional duties as assigned.
