Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all flight crew members, providing comprehensive training, expert guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Develop, maintain, and rigorously enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure optimal safety and efficiency across all flight operations.
- Guarantee that all flight missions are executed in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and industry-leading safety standards.
- Actively participate in flight duties, encompassing both domestic and international operations, on a regular basis.
- Strategically coordinate pilot scheduling, manage duty time limitations, and ensure robust flight readiness protocols.
- Provide mentorship and conduct performance evaluations for pilots, fostering professional development and ensuring continuous regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the astute management of aviation department expenditures, proactively identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide essential support for maintenance oversight, including coordinating inspections and audits with maintenance personnel and external vendors.
- Maintain meticulous operational records, ensuring the accurate and timely documentation of pilot training, flight hours, and professional certifications.
- Collaborate effectively with senior leadership to define departmental objectives and advance strategic safety initiatives.
- Cultivate and champion a robust culture of teamwork, unwavering professionalism, and exemplary customer service within the flight department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, demonstrating extensive operational experience, including:
- At least 5,000 hours specifically in turbine aircraft.
- A minimum of 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Current type rating in the Challenger 604 aircraft is strongly preferred.
- Substantial experience conducting both domestic and complex international flight operations.
- A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated experience in corporate aviation.
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Profound knowledge of FAA regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) programs, and contemporary aviation industry best practices.
- Exhibits a professional, discreet, and customer-service-oriented demeanor at all times.
- Proven ability to adapt seamlessly to dynamic operational environments and maintain composure under high-pressure situations.
- Possession of a valid and unrestricted passport for international travel.
