About the Role

Key Responsibilities
The Chief Pilot's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and supervising all flight crew members, providing expert training, strategic guidance, and meticulous performance oversight.
- Developing, maintaining, and rigorously enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee safe and highly efficient flight operations.
- Ensuring all flights are conducted in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and industry-leading safety standards.
- Actively participating in flight duties on a regular basis, encompassing both complex domestic and international operations.
- Strategically coordinating pilot scheduling, managing duty time limitations, and ensuring optimal flight readiness.
- Evaluating and mentoring pilots to foster continuous professional growth and unwavering regulatory compliance.
- Assisting in the astute management of aviation department expenditures and proactively identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Supporting robust maintenance oversight, including meticulous inspections and audits, in close coordination with dedicated maintenance personnel and external vendors.
- Maintaining all required operational records and ensuring the timely and accurate documentation of training, flight hours, and certifications.
- Collaborating closely with senior leadership to define departmental goals and champion safety initiatives.
- Promoting a strong culture of teamwork, unwavering professionalism, and exceptional customer service throughout the flight department.
Required Qualifications
Prospective candidates must demonstrate the following essential qualifications:
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, including:
- 5,000 hours in turbine aircraft.
- 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- A current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and a Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Significant and proven experience in both domestic and international flight operations.
- A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated corporate aviation experience.
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- A profound understanding of FAA regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) programs, and aviation industry best practices.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
- Type-rated in a Challenger 604 aircraft is strongly preferred.

- Frequent and extensive travel, up to 75%, including demanding international destinations.
