About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Leads and supervises all flight crew members, providing expert guidance, comprehensive performance oversight, and continuous mentorship to foster professional growth.
- Establishes, meticulously maintains, and rigorously enforces Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the highest levels of safety and operational efficiency across all flight activities.
- Ensures all flights are conducted in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and advanced aviation safety standards.
- Actively participates in flight duties on a regular basis, encompassing both complex domestic and challenging international operations.
- Coordinates meticulous pilot scheduling, manages duty time limitations in accordance with regulations, and ensures comprehensive flight readiness for all assigned missions.
- Evaluates and mentors pilots to promote continuous professional development and ensure sustained regulatory compliance.
- Assists in the strategic management of aviation department expenditures and proactively identifies opportunities for cost optimization without compromising safety or quality.
- Supports comprehensive maintenance oversight, including detailed inspections and audits, in close coordination with maintenance personnel and trusted third-party vendors.
- Maintains all required operational records with precision, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of training, flight hours, and certifications.
- Collaborates strategically with senior leadership to define departmental goals, develop robust safety initiatives, and implement continuous improvement programs.
- Promotes and champions a robust culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service throughout the flight department.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, which must include:
- 5,000 hours in turbine aircraft
- 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Type-rating in a Challenger 604 aircraft is preferred.
- Extensive and significant experience in conducting both domestic and international flight operations.
- A minimum of 5 years of dedicated corporate aviation experience.
- Demonstrated strong leadership, supervisory, and mentoring capabilities with a proven track record.
- Profound understanding of FAA regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) programs, and contemporary aviation industry best practices.
- Possession of a professional, discreet, and inherently service-oriented demeanor.
- Exceptional ability to adapt effectively to dynamic situations and maintain composure under pressure.
- A valid, unrestricted passport is required for international travel.
