Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Chief Pilot to lead its flight operations. The Chief Pilot will be responsible for supervising flight crew operations, ensuring adherence to aviation regulations, overseeing comprehensive training and efficient scheduling, and actively participating in flight duties. Key Responsibilities
- Leads and supervises all flight crew members, providing comprehensive training, expert guidance, and performance oversight.
- Maintains and rigorously enforces Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and highly efficient flight operations.
- Ensures all flights are conducted in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and stringent safety standards.
- Participates actively in flight duties on a regular basis, encompassing both domestic and international operations.
- Coordinates pilot scheduling, manages duty time limitations, and ensures optimal flight readiness.
- Evaluates and mentors pilots to promote continuous professional growth and unwavering regulatory compliance.
- Assists in managing aviation department expenditures and proactively identifies cost-saving opportunities.
- Supports maintenance oversight activities, including rigorous inspections and audits, in close coordination with maintenance personnel and external vendors.
- Maintains required operational records and ensures timely and accurate documentation of training, flight hours, and certifications.
- Collaborates effectively with senior leadership to establish departmental goals and implement robust safety initiatives.
- Promotes a culture of teamwork, unwavering professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, including at least:
- 5,000 hours in turbine aircraft
- 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and a Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Type rating in Challenger 604 aircraft is highly preferred.
- Significant experience spanning both domestic and international flight operations.
- A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated corporate aviation experience.
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentoring skills.
- Profound understanding of FAA regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) programs, and industry best practices.
- A professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor.
- Proven ability to adapt seamlessly in dynamic situations and maintain composure under pressure.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted passport.

Physical Demands & Travel Requirements

- Frequent travel, up to 75%, including international destinations, is required.
