About the Role
The organization is seeking an accomplished and safety-focused Chief Pilot to lead its comprehensive flight operations. The Chief Pilot will be responsible for the direct supervision of flight crew operations, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements, overseeing pilot training and scheduling, and actively participating in flight duties. Key Responsibilities
- Leads and supervises all flight crew members, providing comprehensive training, professional guidance, and performance oversight.
- Develops, maintains, and rigorously enforces Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.
- Ensures all flight operations strictly adhere to FAA regulations, company policies, and the highest aviation safety standards.
- Actively participates in flight duties on a regular basis, encompassing both domestic and international operations.
- Coordinates pilot scheduling, manages duty time limitations, and ensures comprehensive flight readiness.
- Evaluates and mentors pilots, fostering their professional growth and ensuring continuous regulatory compliance.
- Assists in the diligent management of aviation department expenditures and proactively identifies cost-saving opportunities.
- Supports comprehensive maintenance oversight, including conducting and coordinating inspections and audits with maintenance personnel and external vendors.
- Maintains meticulous operational records and ensures the timely and accurate documentation of training, flight hours, and certifications.
- Collaborates effectively with senior leadership to establish strategic departmental goals and implement robust safety initiatives.
- Promotes and nurtures a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service throughout the flight department.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, including:
- 5,000 hours in turbine aircraft
- 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Significant experience in both domestic and international flight operations.
- A minimum of 5 years of corporate aviation experience.
- Proven leadership, mentorship, and team-building capabilities.
- In-depth understanding of FAA regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) programs, and aviation industry best practices.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Type rating in Challenger 604 aircraft.
- Exceptional professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt effectively in dynamic operational situations and maintain composure under pressure.

- Requires frequent travel, up to 75%, including international destinations.
