About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising all flight crew members, providing comprehensive training, guidance, and performance oversight to foster professional growth.
- Developing, maintaining, and rigorously enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure optimal safety and efficiency across all flight operations.
- Ensuring all flights are conducted in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and the highest industry safety standards.
- Regularly participating in flight duties, encompassing both domestic and complex international operations.
- Coordinating intricate pilot scheduling, meticulously managing duty time limitations, and verifying complete flight readiness for all missions.
- Evaluating and mentoring pilots, promoting continuous professional development and unwavering regulatory compliance.
- Assisting in the meticulous management of aviation department expenditures and proactively identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Supporting robust maintenance oversight, including conducting inspections and audits in close coordination with dedicated maintenance personnel and external vendors.
- Maintaining all requisite operational records and ensuring timely and accurate documentation of training programs, flight hours, and pilot certifications.
- Collaborating effectively with senior leadership to define and achieve departmental goals and spearhead critical safety initiatives.
- Actively promoting and upholding a strong culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service within the flight department.
Required Qualifications and Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, including:
- 5,000 hours in turbine aircraft.
- 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Type-rating in Challenger 604 aircraft is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in both domestic and international flight operations.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in corporate aviation.
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Profound understanding and application of FAA regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) programs, and aviation industry best practices.
- Exhibits a professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor.
- Proven ability to adapt seamlessly in dynamic operational situations and maintain composure under pressure.
- Holds a valid, unrestricted passport, enabling international travel.
