Instructor Pilot

CAE, a global leader in aviation training, is seeking experienced and dedicated Instructor Pilots to join its team. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage one's passion for aviation within a structured and supportive environment. Instructor Pilots will impart their knowledge and skills to clients, shaping the next generation of aviation professionals while enjoying a schedule that allows for personal time. Several full-time positions are available at the Dallas Training Center located at DFW Airport in Dallas, Texas, the Northeast Training Center in Whippany, NJ and the Las Vegas Training Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Responsibilities:

This position requires an individual who thrives on coaching and mentorship, values Crew Resource Management (CRM), and enjoys working collaboratively within a diverse team. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment and effectively communicate across various platforms. A strong commitment to customer service is essential, as is the ability to tailor training sessions to meet diverse needs, maintain meticulous records, and adhere to all CAE policies and FAA regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Authorization to live and work in the United States.
  • Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted Pilot-in-Command (PIC) type rating.
  • Preference given to candidates with FAR Part 135 experience and a minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs.
  • Willingness to participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
