Instructor Pilot - Phenom - Las Vegas, NV
CAE, a global leader in modelling, simulation, and training for civil aviation, is seeking highly motivated and experienced Instructor Pilots to join our brand-new facility in Las Vegas, NV. The Ideal Candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and mentoring, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a dedication to delivering world-class training experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver flight training in a flight simulator and ground school environment, adhering to applicable regulatory agencies, CAE's approved curriculum, and customer requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and guide clients through their training.
- Provide simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types as assigned, facilitating the issuance of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
- Conduct pre- and post-flight simulator briefings thoroughly and professionally, adhering to CAE standards.
- Fulfill administrative responsibilities, including completing training records, recommending remedial training when necessary, and maintaining accurate records of instructional qualifications and activity.
- Contribute to the creation of curricula and courseware as needed.
Qualifications:
- Hold or meet qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating.
- Possess a genuine passion for teaching and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrate basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.
- Be willing to participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
- Possess experience flying business aircraft (preferred).
- Be authorized to live and work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks requiring hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to sit in a confined space for 4-6 hours at a time with limited breaks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours) with limited breaks.
- Ability to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn.
