The role we are offering you:

CAE Pelesys is a global leader and provider of Aviation Digital Solutions to Airlines, ATOs and other aviation training organizations. As an Instructor / Grading Specialist you will be responsible to assess our customer needs and guide them through the implementation of ETR application. You will assist with training and system validation.

Our ETR application is used by training managers and instructors to manage, record and analyze efficiently any type of training framework (Task, AQP, EBT)

You will work in cross functional team with members of product management, client account leads and engineering. Are you ready to:

Customer need assessment

+ Support sales and product management during the customer proposal process

+ Provide product demos

+ Evaluate customer requirement vs product functionality

+ Define the new feature requirements

+ Product development recommendations documentation and validations

+ Provide the voice of customers and recommendations

+ Support the product manager through the formulation of new product development items

+ Document the user manuals.

+ Test the new product development deliveries.

Customer onboarding and support

+ Train the training managers and instructors

+ Analyze the customer curriculum and support the transcription of the customer training templates into the application.

+ Support the customer help desk through the assessment and resolution of the raised issues.

Our ideal candidate has:

+ Pilot Instructor with Type-Rating on a commercial or business aircraft.

+ Good working knowledge of general concepts, use of systems and procedures in airline operations and/or airline flight training operations.

+ Good working knowledge of flight training related regulations.

+ Experience with building system training documentation.

+ Flight training management experience is an asset.

+ Experience with grading & assessment in an aviation training environment.

+ Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, adapting his style and methods to the different stakeholders involved.

+ Analytical mind set – able to see high level impact whilst managing information at a detail level.

+ Strong organization skills.

+ Self motivator, able to multi-task and work autonomously.

+ Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing working environment.

+ Computer and software tools proficiency.
