A leading global aviation training organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Flight Instructor to join its new training center in Savannah, Georgia, scheduled to open in mid-2023. This role will focus on the Gulfstream G280 aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for aviation, a commitment to excellence in training, and a desire to develop professionally.
The Flight Instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive flight training in both simulator and ground school settings. This includes instruction for licenses, type ratings, and pilot qualifications, all while adhering to regulatory agency guidelines, CAE-approved curriculum, and specific customer requirements. The individual will act as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through their training programs. Furthermore, after a designated period and in accordance with business requirements, instructors are expected to qualify as Training Center Evaluators and customer contract check airmen. The role encompasses pre- and post-simulator briefing, maintaining accurate training records, recommending remedial training when necessary, and contributing to curriculum development.
This role requires the ability to perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. The candidate must also be able to sit for extended periods of time, typically 4-6 hours, and occasionally stand for up to 10 hours. The position may also require stooping, climbing, and twisting movements.
