Purpose of Position
Executive Jet Management seeks qualified candidates for a Pilot in Command position operating a Gulfstream G280 aircraft based at KLAS (Las Vegas, Nevada). This is a dedicated Part 91 account supported by a three-pilot crew, a dedicated maintenance technician, and a cabin attendant. This rare opportunity involves working with a valued Owner on a well-established account. With under 200 flight hours annually, the position offers a steady, low-demand flying schedule, providing an ideal balance between professional responsibilities and personal time. This is not a commutable position; applicants must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Las Vegas area.
The Pilot in Command assumes final responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The PIC is expected to adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Pilot in Command's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Verifies crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes flight planning, performance, and weight and balance calculations as required for each assignment.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to conduct required briefings and effectively mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as necessary.
- Acts as the Ground Security Coordinator and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
- Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying the aircraft's maintenance status to ensure mission readiness.
- Records all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitors and ensures all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are accomplished according to SOPs.
- Completes passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations.
- Applies Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to ensure clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Investigates and resolves service deviations promptly.
- Collaborates effectively with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to ensure a consistent service experience.
- Resolves conflicts and challenges professionally and acceptably.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains all required regulatory and company training and recency of experience.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements (KSAOs)
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation.
- Gulfstream G280 type rating is preferred.
- Ability to reside in or relocate to the Las Vegas Area is required.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
