Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company and NetJets subsidiary, is seeking a Gulfstream G280 Pilot in Command (Captain) for a home-based position in Fort Worth, TX. This role operates under a Part 135 certificate and offers a set schedule, focusing on safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations while ensuring a high-quality owner and passenger experience.
The Pilot in Command is ultimately responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G280. Key responsibilities include ensuring crewing and trip assignments meet all regulatory requirements, managing flight planning, aircraft performance, and weight-and-balance calculations. The Captain will also oversee pre-flight tasks, review maintenance status, monitor ground servicing, conduct required briefings, adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and serve as the Grounds and In-Flight Security Coordinator. This position requires exceptional Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) skills to facilitate effective communication and decision-making during all operational phases. A significant aspect of the role involves providing superior service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying service improvements, resolving service deviations, and fostering strong collaborative relationships with crew members and internal partners.
