Jet Aviation seeks an experienced Captain to command its Gulfstream G280 aircraft, operating from Tampa, Florida. This role involves the ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and discreet operation of the aircraft, leading a professional crew, and ensuring an exceptional experience for discerning clients on domestic and global routes within an elite private aviation environment.

About the Role

The Captain will command all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, managing flight plans, adapting to changing conditions, and serving as the TSA In-Flight Security Coordinator. The Captain will conduct passenger safety briefings or delegate this duty, actively support safety communication, report hazards, and meticulously record and report aircraft discrepancies. Furthermore, the role entails managing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, and completing accurate trip paperwork, all while acting as a professional brand ambassador for Jet Aviation.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Current FAA First Class Medical.
• 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time.
• 1,500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• 1,500 hours multi-engine time.
• 500 hours turbo-jet time.
• 500 hours turbine time.
• 100 hours night flight time.
• 75 hours simulated instrument time.
• Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
• Willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
• High school diploma.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• FAA ATP Certificate (Unrestricted or Restricted).
• College degree (preferred).
• Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (preferred).
