Broward College seeks a highly qualified and dedicated Aviation Instructor to join its esteemed Aviation Operations department. The Aviation Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in aviation-related subjects, utilizing both traditional face-to-face and blended learning methodologies. Specific duties will include curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment creation and grading, and student mentorship. The successful candidate will demonstrate a mastery of their subject matter expertise, proficiency in utilizing various educational technologies, and a commitment to preparing students for successful and productive careers. The role requires maintaining regular office hours, with some evening and/or weekend availability.
Hourly rate: $1,950 - $2,230 (commensurate with education and experience).
Part-time position.
Work schedule: Monday-Friday, with some weekend availability; specific schedule may vary.
