Broward College - Aviation Instructor (Part-Time)
Broward College is seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join its Aviation Operations department as a Part-Time Aviation Instructor. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the academic success of students pursuing careers in the dynamic field of aviation.
Responsibilities:
- Instructional Excellence: Demonstrate a mastery of aviation principles and practices, delivering engaging and effective instruction to students in a variety of formats, including traditional face-to-face and blended (hybrid) learning environments.
- Student Success: Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes student achievement, persistence, and preparedness for successful careers.
- Technology Integration: Embrace the use of various educational technologies and resources to enhance student learning experiences.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of aviation curriculum materials to align with current industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in the aviation industry.
- Possession of a valid FAA Air Traffic Control License.
- Prior college teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and a strong commitment to teaching.

- Salary Range: $1,950 - $2,230 (Salary commensurate with education and experience)
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/weekends/varies
