Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing recognition, engagement, and communications strategies for Gatwick-based cabin crew.
• Developing and nurturing a highly motivated, customer-focused crew base that serves as trusted advocates for British Airways’ products and services.
• Leading and driving change and transformation initiatives within the base.
• Establishing, measuring, and maintaining a high-performance culture, ensuring the achievement of business performance measures and targets, alongside appropriate reward and recognition for exceptional performance.
• Leading the Industrial Relations strategy for the base, building and maintaining strong relationships with Trade Unions and colleague representatives.

Required Skills, Attributes, and Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams of colleagues within customer service or operational functions.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering effective change initiatives.
• Experience in project leadership and a proven ability to deliver complex projects.
• Experience working within a complex industrial relations environment.
• Ability to hold an airside pass.
• Possesses engaging and approachable leadership qualities.
• Acts as a total customer advocate.
• Uncompromising commitment to safety, security, process adherence, and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as a role model for First Contact Resolution (FCR) and colleague empowerment.
• Ability to make tough decisions and creatively lead innovative solutions.
• Exhibits clear and articulate communication skills.
