Salary: £22,000 per annum (Plus £5 block hour flight pay)

Ascend Airways is seeking highly motivated Cabin Crew Members who excel in delivering outstanding customer service and are passionate about creating memorable experiences for valued passengers. Reporting to the Head of Cabin Services, this role requires complete operational flexibility, encompassing various types of flying duties. This includes the potential for operating away from base, particularly during the winter period, necessitating periods of time away from home. As a Cabin Crew Member, the individual will be central to the passenger experience, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight. The role demands the delivery of world-class service while maintaining the utmost professionalism and a consistently warm, welcoming demeanour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers and crew in strict compliance with all relevant aviation regulations.
• Providing exceptional customer service, proactively addressing passenger needs and requests with a helpful and courteous attitude.
• Conducting essential safety demonstrations and providing assistance to passengers during boarding and disembarkation processes.
• Performing professional in-flight service, including the serving of food and beverages and the sale of duty-free products.
• Handling passenger inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and effectively with a calm and professional approach.
• Representing Ascend Airways, dedicated to ensuring every passenger experiences a positive and memorable journey.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 12 months' previous service experience as a Cabin Crew or Senior Cabin Crew member is essential.
• Must hold a valid UK CAA Cabin Crew Attestation.
• Must possess a valid UK Cabin Crew Medical Certificate.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of additional languages is considered a desirable attribute.
• Ability and confidence to swim a minimum distance of 25 meters unassisted.
• Possession of knowledge in medical first aid (updated medical training will be provided by Ascend Airways upon joining).
• Must hold an unrestricted legal right to live and work within the United Kingdom.
• Must hold a valid passport that permits unrestricted travel worldwide.
• Must be aged 18 or over at the time of application.
• Ability to successfully pass satisfactory background and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) screening checks.
• Ability to commute to London Gatwick Airport (LGW) within a maximum of 90 minutes.
