Breeze Airways is seeking dedicated and personable individuals to join their team as Part-Time Flight Attendants at the Provo (PVU) Crew Base. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to "The World's Nicest Airline" and ensure a positive and safe travel experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing assistance with seating, luggage, and other requests.
  • Maintain a positive and empathetic demeanor, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated.
  • Uphold a safe environment for both guests and fellow team members.
  • Effectively manage high-stress situations, remaining calm and collected under pressure.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, fostering a respectful and productive work environment.
  • Proactively monitor the cabin, providing readily available assistance to guests.
  • Remain adaptable to schedule changes due to operational needs or unforeseen delays.
  • Adhere to FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements.
  • Demonstrate personal responsibility through punctuality and proactive work habits.
  • Uphold professional appearance and etiquette, both in and out of the cabin.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
  • Utilize, implement, and explain Breeze’s Inflight technology.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, including alcohol, while adhering to strict hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization.
  • Provide clear instructions on safety and emergency procedures to guests.
  • Administer first-aid and medical care as required.
  • Maintain control of personal emotional responses, acting appropriately in high-stress environments.
  • Conduct security screenings.
  • Complete Autism Awareness Training.
  • Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations.
  • Achieve performance measures in line with Breeze Aviation Group Values.

Job Details:

  • Monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours.
  • Must reside within a two-hour driving distance of Provo Airport.
  • Initial uniform and luggage issuance provided by Breeze.
  • Paid training is provided.
  • Eligibility for 401K benefits after 90 days of employment.
  • Travel benefits on the Breeze network begin after 30 days of employment.
  • Travel benefits on other airlines begin after six months of employment.

Year 3 $30.00
Year 4 $31.50
Year 5 $33.00
Year 6 $34.50
Year 7 $36.00
Year 8+ $37.50

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work seasonal duties in New Haven, CT.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins unassisted.
  • Must have adequate head clearance in the cabin.
  • Must be able to sit and buckle into the aircraft jumpseat.
  • Must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be service-oriented and adhere to hygiene standards outlined by the CDC.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must pass vision and hearing tests.
  • Must complete security screening training and pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
  • Must pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history check and a Breeze background check.
  • Must possess the legal right to work and travel without restrictions to/from the United States.
  • Must have a valid passport with a minimum of six months remaining before expiration.
  • Must be able to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Must be willing to relocate based on company operational needs, if applicable.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
  • Must be able to report to the assigned base for assigned trips and work "Reserve Assignments".
  • Must be self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
  • Nose piercings are acceptable, following company guidelines.
  • No teeth embellishments are allowed while in uniform.
  • No more than two (2) earrings per ear while in uniform.

Tattoos may be visible while in uniform, adhering to company guidelines provided during the selection process.

Skills and Talents:

  • Ability to perform assigned duties, including standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to clearly communicate emergency commands in English.
  • Ability to resolve challenges with effective solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness to perform daily operations, including lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Ability to close overhead storage compartments using up to fifty (50) pounds of push/pull force.
  • Ability to assist disabled passengers and push/pull beverage carts weighing up to sixty (60) pounds.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in handling difficult situations and conflict de-escalation.
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals and teams at all levels.
