Breeze Airways seeks a dedicated and "Seriously Nice" Part-Time Flight Attendant to join its TPA Crew Base. This role is central to the airline's commitment to providing a simple, affordable, and convenient travel experience. The Flight Attendant will be responsible for the safety and comfort of guests and fellow team members, acting as a visible representative of the company and its core values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

This position includes a monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours, requires residence within a two-hour driving radius of Tampa International Airport, and successful completion of initial flight attendant training. Breeze provides initial luggage and uniform issuance, paid training, 401K benefits after 90 days, travel benefits on Breeze after 30 days, and travel benefits on other airlines after six months of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing assistance with seating, luggage, and information, while remaining available for additional support.
  • Maintain a positive and kind demeanor, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all guests and team members.
  • Effectively manage high-stress situations and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Collaborate respectfully with team members.
  • Maintain cabin visibility and proactively offer assistance.
  • Adapt to schedule changes due to operational, weather-related, or unforeseen delays.
  • Stay current with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and personal responsibility.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to etiquette guidelines.
  • Provide support to other departments as necessary.
  • Utilize and explain Breeze's Inflight technology.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, including alcohol, while maintaining the highest hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cabin and galley cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide safety instructions, including emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Administer first aid and medical care as necessary.
  • Maintain control of emotional responses in stressful situations.
  • Conduct security screenings.
  • Complete Autism Awareness Training.
  • Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations.
  • Achieve performance standards in line with Breeze Aviation Group's values.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Meet minimum height requirements for accessing emergency equipment and maximum height requirements for cabin clearance.
  • Ability to sit in the flight attendant jumpseat of the E190, E195, and A220.
  • Neat, well-groomed appearance.
  • Service-oriented mindset.
  • Adherence to CDC hygiene standards.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Pass vision and hearing tests.
  • Successfully complete security screening training.
  • Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and TSA fingerprint-based criminal history check.
  • Legal right to work and travel in/out of the United States.
  • Valid Passport with a minimum of six months remaining.
  • Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Willingness to relocate and work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
  • Ability to report for duty at the assigned base.
  • Positive attitude and strong desire for success.
  • Adherence to company appearance guidelines regarding piercings and teeth embellishments.

Tattoos may be visible if they comply with company guidelines which will be provided during the selection process.

  • Ability to perform duties, including standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to read announcements clearly and communicate effectively in English.
  • Problem-solving and independent thinking skills within a collaborative team.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, push/pull carts with 60 pounds force, and perform safety-related procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work with individuals and teams at all organizational levels.
