Your role at Baxter

This position requires an outstanding level of personal services to ensure the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight. The ideal candidate will be a standout colleague with flexibility and a willingness to tackle any additional responsibilities required to provide passengers with an extraordinary travel experience. While the primary purpose of this position is to ensure the safety of our passengers, the position is also responsible for delivering outstanding global customer service which includes passenger greetings, safety briefings, cabin equipment demonstrations, and food & beverage service. Culinary experience and a passion for food are required. Advanced Culinary training strongly preferred.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible to the assigned Pilot in Command of each scheduled trip for all duties. Align with all Federal Air Regulations (FARs). Ensure passenger compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain proficiency and currency as a Part 91 qualified crew member.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director or Chief Pilot
  • Coordinates preflight activities to ensure the accurate maintenance status of the emergency equipment, cleanliness of the cabin, stocking of the aircraft and accurate catering orders onboard.
  • Conducts emergency/service briefings prior to each flight and ensures that the cabin is secure prior to taxi.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to the passengers. Greet all passengers, verify passports and confirm that the passenger manifest is accurate.
  • Provide an outstanding environment by preparing meals, tending to the needs of passengers.
  • Responsible for cleanliness of cabin for all in-flight service during the duration of a trip
  • Performs research to be familiar with passenger food preferences, possible allergies, and medical conditions.
  • Culinary training, experience in food preparation, and knowledge of wine are a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in safe food handling procedures.
  • Responsible for the inventory and control of all catering, china, crystal, flatware, linens, wines, liquors, and on board supplies as needed for the country and/or culture.
  • Handle commissary cleanliness, maintain accurate stock, and audit food/snack expirations.
  • Accurate cleaning and laundering of all cabin linens and serving ware.
  • Performs berthing procedures as needed for passenger sleeping arrangements.
  • Completes the stocking guidelines to ensure adequate stock is on board the aircraft.
  • Adheres to company purchasing policies and procedures in the acquisition of aircraft supplies.
  • Align with Flight Operations Manual, company policies and procedures including the Travel & Entertainment Policy for Crew members.
  • Cost-conscious mentality and ability to adhere to budgets.
  • Responsible for assuring that the company’s goals for safety, security and quality are met by continual compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting through the appropriate process any safety, security or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.
  • Participates in quarterly safety meetings and provides suggestions and feedback to act as a representative for the Flight Attendant team.
  • Annual completion of AirCare/ MedAire emergency training, first aid, and CPR training required.
  • Trained and proficient in handling Abnormal and Emergency procedures.
  • Trained and proficient in all areas of cabin systems and operations.
  • Will require good physical condition due to being on feet most of the shift.
  • Must be able to assist crew and passengers with baggage loading.
  • May supervise the work of, or train contract or part time cabin crew members.
  • May develop and update procedures manuals and guides as needed or required.

What you'll bring

  • Valid US Passport with no foreign jurisdiction entry/exit restrictions.
  • Able to work irregular and long hours according to flight schedules.
  • Ability to stand with limited ability to sit during long flights.
  • Ability to lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds, from floor level to waist high repeatedly.
  • 5 years of corporate flight attendant experience.
  • 2 years of Gulfstream experience preferred.
  • International experience

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 to $156,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
