Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all customers by adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures.
- Respond with composure and leadership to diverse emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Maintain high standards of dependability and professionalism to facilitate on-time departures and seamless flight operations.
- Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in managing long hours and irregular schedules within a dynamic flight environment.

- Operate effectively in varied global environments, encompassing diverse climates and time zones.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- A minimum of two years of customer service experience is necessary, preferably in industries such as retail, hospitality, food service, education, aviation, or social services.
- Height and weight must be conducive to safe aircraft operation, including the ability to sit in a jump seat with a fastened harness and navigate the cabin aisle and operate emergency exits without restriction.
- Must possess a valid U.S. or foreign passport with applicable visas, valid through at least December 31, 2026. Candidates with foreign passports must also hold all necessary and valid documentation for legal work and travel within the U.S. and internationally.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States and the ability to travel without restriction to all states and countries served by American Airlines.
- Willingness to relocate based on the company's operational needs is essential.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
- Readiness to report for on-call (reserve) duty at the assigned base; reserve duty may extend for an indeterminate period.
- Ability to professionally represent the American Airlines brand while in uniform, adhering to appearance standards: no visible tattoos, no more than one earring per ear, and no facial piercings.
