Job Functions:
-
Supervises all Flight Attendants which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, and wage and salary recommendations
-
Assists in determining appropriate staffing levels
-
Develop, implement, maintain and monitor the Company's Flight Attendant training programs covering initial, recurrent, transition, and requalification training. Evaluates performance of Flight Attendants according to FAA Approved procedures and ATI standards. Conducts progressive discipline when appropriate after coordination with ATI Human Resources

Coordinates with crew scheduling to assure staffing requirements are met

Develop, produce, and maintain Flight Attendant training syllabi in accordance with ATI's Flight Attendant Training Manual and Standards requirements. Establishes and oversees Flight Attendant standards, policies and procedures, consistent with ATI policies and the FAR’s

Coordinates continued FAA approval or acceptance of and maintains the Flight Attendant Manual, Flight Attendant Training Manual, Exit Row Seating Program, Carry-On Baggage Program and other documents used for passenger operations, such as checklists, passenger safety briefing cards, in-flight announcements, etc

Ensures training materials are current and all-encompassing and conducts audits of all required Flight Attendant programs and manuals

Conducts in-flight evaluations to assure that each Flight Attendant receives a formal in-flight evaluation at least once every 18 months

Provide enough Supervisors Flight Attendant/Instructors to conduct required flight training and flight checks, or training courses permitted under 14 CFR Part 121. Coordinates with Flight Attendant Supervisor/Instructors on courseware, schedules and course requirements

Develop and publish evaluation criteria for Supervisors Flight Attendant/Instructors and personnel in training. Coordinate’s training schedules with ATI Training Department to assure staffing needs are met

Perform the duties and functions of a Supervisor Flight Attendant/Instructor as required and performs in-flight audits of all routes on quarterly basis to ensure standards and policies are upheld

Maintains personal current qualifications in order to perform ATI Flight Attendant duties when necessary

Manages on board passenger and flight attendant cabin services and supply activities, including catering, in-flight entertainment, passenger, and Flight Attendant supplies

Coordinate’s passenger activities as required with ATI station representatives

Performs quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
-
Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other departments and employees

Interacts professionally with other departments and employees
-
Maintains safe working conditions and practices within the department

Is responsible for In-flight Departmental budget.

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations or SR MGR of Flight Standards and Training
Position Requirements:
-
Three (3) years as a Flight Attendant with international experience
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Frequent Travel is required
-
Successful completion of safety sensitive drug screen, background check and criminal background check and pass a US Government secret clearance in the event of CRAF activation
-
Valid U.S. Passport and ability to travel internationally
-
Knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software
-
Thorough familiarity with FAR’s, applicable FAA guidance materials and the ability to apply them appropriately

High School Diploma and be able to read, write and understand English
Preferred Job Skills:
-
Associates or bachelor’s degree
-
Supervisory/managerial experience and training of Inflight
-
Learning Management experience (LMS)
-
Ability to perform all applicable technical writing and creation of professional documents
Physical Requirements:
-
Must be able to stand, bend, and reach; sit for extended periods of time
-
Must be able to operate all emergency exits and aircraft equipment, using all the necessary movements
