Job Purpose: Cabin Crew Member
The Cabin Crew Member serves as a direct ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image. This role is instrumental in enhancing the overall passenger experience by providing exceptional customer service while meticulously ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout every flight. Successful candidates will be prepared and fit to operate, consistently meeting productivity benchmarks and adhering to the company's established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and Professionalism
- Ensures punctual attendance, immaculate grooming, and fitness for duty in compliance with flight assignments.
- Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand role allocations, review operational targets, and complete security checks.
Safety and Security
- Clearly instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, prioritizing their well-being and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as required.
- Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Service Excellence
- Warmly welcomes passengers and provides assistance with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook per airline and Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
- Delivers consistently outstanding customer service by attending to passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Actively contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program through effective promotion of onboard meals, products, and charitable services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures secure and accurate handling of all cash and credit card transactions related to individual sales and donations.
Operational Support and Reporting
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to confirm the availability of adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified items. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned during transit stops and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provisioned before departure.
- Manages the orderly and complete handover and takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports in accordance with established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and documenting any flight-related issues or discrepancies.
- Oversees the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains essential professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure drills, educational workshops, and by ensuring the validity of their license.
- Contributes to team success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: 20-29 years for individuals with no prior experience; up to 33 years for experienced crew.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
- Appearance: Possesses clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all cabin crew duties.
- Swimming Ability: Capable of swimming with the assistance of a flotation device.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered an advantage.
- Training: Certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are advantageous.
- Health: Fit to fly, in good general health, with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Attitude: Presentable, friendly, and maintains a cheerful and positive demeanor, even under stressful situations.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrates strong customer service orientation, with the ability to understand and address passenger needs and requests effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of handling difficult situations and dissatisfied customers without compromising the corporate image.
- Situational Awareness: Possesses a keen ability to identify irregularities and manage threats and emergencies with efficiency and a commitment to achieving successful outcomes.

Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is advantageous.
- An active cabin crew license is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work in a shift pattern, including extended working hours.
- Exhibits high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
