Job Title: Cabin Crew (UAE Based)

Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member acts as a key ambassador for the airline, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image at all times. This is achieved by enhancing the overall customer experience, providing excellent service to all passengers, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the complete flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member is expected to maintain readiness and fitness to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and the company's policies and procedures.

Key Result Responsibilities

The role encompasses several critical areas:

Conduct:

  1. Ensures timely attendance, maintains impeccable grooming standards, and verifies personal fitness and required documentation for assigned flights.
  2. Attends briefings to ensure full understanding of flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.

Safety Measures:

  1. Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
  2. Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  3. Provides necessary first aid assistance to passengers when required.
  4. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.

Customer Service:

  1. Warmly welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities; enters necessary data into the aircraft log book in compliance with airline and relevant aviation authority procedures (GCAA/CAA).
  2. Delivers consistently excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  3. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to established policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
  4. Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting meals, products, and charity services, thereby contributing to individual and team targets.
  5. Ensures proper and secure handling of all cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.

Crosschecking and Reports:

  1. Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are on board before departure; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
  2. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before subsequent flights.
  3. Ensures an orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin to or from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
  4. Carries out post-flight briefings and completes assessment reports in accordance with adopted policies and procedures, including providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies encountered on the flight, and closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  5. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct; undertakes the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated as such by the Captain.
  6. Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, ensuring all licenses remain current.
  7. Contributes to the team effort by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 to 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
  • Weight: Must be in proportion to Age and Height.
  • Skin: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Swimming Ability: Must be able to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

  • Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered an advantage.
  • Training: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
  • Health: Must be fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language: Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Work Experience & Skills

  • Experience Level: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous Experience: Prior experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality Industries is considered an added value.
  • Licensing: Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Working Hours: Capable of working shift patterns and extended hours.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Performance: Shows the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
