Cabin Crew Member

This position is part of a recruitment initiative specifically for candidates available for assessments in Georgia.

The Cabin Crew Member acts as a representative of Air Arabia, fostering customer loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. This individual delivers exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight. They must maintain operational readiness and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, and maintains fitness and legal qualifications for assigned flights. Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
  • Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions as per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain, as required.
  • Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
  • Provides consistent excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies.
  • Actively contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
  • Ensures accurate and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
  • Conducts pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
  • Maintains orderly and complete handovers/takeovers of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
  • Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any problems or discrepancies observed during the flight; ensures proper closing and sealing of duty free containers.
  • Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and performs duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when delegated by the Captain.
  • Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure drills, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license.
  • Contributes to team success by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
  • Weight proportionate to age and height.
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is an advantage.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is desirable.
  • Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the Airlines/Aviation or hospitality industries is an advantage.
  • Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in shift patterns and extended hours.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Capability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
