Cabin Crew - Air Arabia

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image. This is achieved by consistently delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must maintain readiness and fitness to operate efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures to achieve productivity targets.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, adheres to grooming standards, and maintains personal fitness and legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Attends pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, understand assigned roles, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately recording necessary data in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides consistently excellent customer service, attending to passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, meeting individual and team targets.
- Manages cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations, ensuring secure handling.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment are available before take-off. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight, and securely closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assumes the role of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and by ensuring their license is current.
- Contributes to team efforts by achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Medically fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is considered an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in a shift pattern and for extended working hours.
- Exhibits high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and deliver successfully against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
