Job Purpose:
The cabin crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures punctuality, appropriate grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, assigned roles, targets, security protocols, boarding procedures, and other essential information.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on necessary safety procedures to ensure their security and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks and works in collaboration with the Cabin Supervisor to take appropriate corrective actions, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Warmly welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering required data into the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistent, high-quality customer service, addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and passenger needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, acting in accordance with the policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting in-flight meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving both individual and team targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify the presence of sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified equipment before takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain, as needed.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations, along with adequate re-catering and duty-free product provisions before subsequent flights.
- Ensures a systematic and comprehensive handover/takeover of the cabin from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Provides post-flight briefings and assessment reports in accordance with company policies and procedures, offering objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any issues or discrepancies occurring during the flight.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor, and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains up-to-date professional and safety knowledge by participating in regular training, emergency procedures drills, and educational workshops while ensuring a current license.
- Contributes positively to the team's success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years old.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for females, 168 cm for males.
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Physical Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Swimming Ability: Must be able to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is highly valued.
- Must be fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
- Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/or hospitality industries is considered a significant asset.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Must be capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs is expected.
