Job Purpose:

The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image at all times. The role involves enhancing the overall customer experience by providing excellent service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew is expected to be ready and fit for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct:

  • Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal readiness for assigned flights.
  • Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, distribution of roles, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.

Safety Measures:

  • Instructs passengers on safety procedures to be followed, ensuring their safety and comfort are maintained throughout the flight.
  • Identifies areas of safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
  • Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate, of any irregularities or malfunctions.

Customer Service:

  • Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters necessary data into the aircraft log book according to airline and regulatory procedures.
  • Provides consistently excellent customer service to passengers by attending to their individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in line with relevant policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other instructions.
  • Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations.

Crosschecking and Reports:

  • Carries out pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are present before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before the next flight segment.
  • Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
  • Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures. Provides an objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any flight problems or discrepancies, and manages the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers. Carries out the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring their license is current.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Requirements:

Important Requirements:

  • Age: Between 20 to 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
  • Weight: To be in proportion to age and height.
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered an advantage.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
  • Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this role.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or hospitality industries is considered an added value.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Must be capable of working in a shift pattern and for extended working hours.
  • Shows high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
