The Cabin Crew member serves as an Air Arabia ambassador, consistently striving to cultivate passenger loyalty and project a positive corporate image. This role prioritizes delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout each flight. Success in this role requires adherence to established productivity measures and company policies and procedures.
The Cabin Crew member ensures punctual attendance, maintains impeccable grooming standards, and confirms personal fitness and legal compliance for all assigned flights. Attendance at pre-flight briefings is mandatory to acknowledge flight details, understand assigned roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
Responsibilities include instructing passengers on safety procedures, identifying potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), administering first aid as needed, and promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel (Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain).
Duties involve welcoming passengers, assisting with boarding formalities, accurately logging data in the aircraft logbook, providing outstanding customer service by addressing pre-booking requests and passenger needs, assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties according to established policies and procedures, and actively promoting on-board meals, products, and the “Charity Cloud” program to maximize revenue and achieve individual and team targets. Accurate handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations is also required.
Pre-flight checks ensure adequate supplies, emergency equipment, and catering are available, reporting any deficiencies; assistance in maintaining aircraft cabin cleanliness at transit stations and restocking supplies; ensuring proper handover/takeover procedures with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff; and completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports, objectively evaluating the Cabin Supervisor’s performance and reporting any flight discrepancies. This includes the secure closure of duty free containers. The Cabin Crew member accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and may fulfill the Cabin Supervisor’s duties when designated by the Captain.
The successful candidate will maintain professional and safety knowledge through participation in recurrent training, emergency procedure training, educational workshops, and license renewal. Contribution to team efforts and achievement of sales targets are also expected.
While fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is considered a valuable asset. Possession of an active cabin crew license is advantageous. The candidate must be adaptable to shift work and extended hours, demonstrate flexibility in handling frequent changes and busy schedules, and effectively contribute to achieving company policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
