An Air Arabia Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for the airline, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must be prepared and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Identifies safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering required data into the aircraft logbook as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Recognizes and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures in the Operations Manual and other guidelines.
- Maximizes on-board revenue and supports the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are available before takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as needed.
- Assists in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and adequate re-catering and duty-free product replenishment before flights.
- Ensures the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any problems or discrepancies on the flight, including the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and carries out the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current license.
- Contributes to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: To be in proportion to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no marks or tattoos visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added advantage.
- Fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
