Air Arabia Cabin Crew Opportunity (Georgia Recruitment Drive)

Job Purpose:

The cabin crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This role requires operational readiness, and a commitment to adhering to company policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

Key Result Responsibilities:

Conduct:

  • Ensures punctuality, appropriate grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
  • Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, assigned roles, targets, security protocols, boarding procedures, and other essential information.

Safety Measures:

  • Instructs passengers on necessary safety procedures to ensure their security and comfort throughout the flight.
  • Identifies potential safety and security risks and works in collaboration with the Cabin Supervisor to take appropriate corrective actions, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
  • Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.

Customer Service:

  • Warmly welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering required data into the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
  • Delivers consistent, high-quality customer service, addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and passenger needs.
  • Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, acting in accordance with the policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
  • Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting in-flight meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving both individual and team targets.
  • Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.

Crosschecking and Reports:

  • Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify the presence of sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified equipment before takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain, as needed.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations, along with adequate re-catering and duty-free product provisions before subsequent flights.
  • Ensures a systematic and comprehensive handover/takeover of the cabin from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
  • Provides post-flight briefings and assessment reports in accordance with company policies and procedures, offering objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any issues or discrepancies occurring during the flight.
  • Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor, and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains up-to-date professional and safety knowledge by participating in regular training, emergency procedures drills, and educational workshops while ensuring a current license.
  • Contributes positively to the team's success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements:

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years old.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm for females, 168 cm for males.
  • Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
  • Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Physical Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
  • Swimming Ability: Must be able to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is highly valued.
  • Must be fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
  • Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/or hospitality industries is considered a significant asset.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Must be capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs is expected.
