Corporate Flight Attendant
Advanced Air, LLC, an innovative and service-oriented aviation company headquartered in Hawthorne, California, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Flight Attendant to join its team. Established in 2005, Advanced Air operates a diverse fleet of aircraft, including turboprop aircraft, business jets, and regional passenger jets, providing both scheduled and on-demand services to over 12 communities in the southwestern United States.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to aircraft passengers while upholding the highest safety standards. This position requires a meticulous and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a proven ability to transform challenging situations into positive experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the aircraft cabin is adequately stocked with supplies, catering, and amenities.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight safety checks of the cabin, emergency equipment, and exits.
- Brief passengers on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the use of safety equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized cabin throughout the flight, including post-meal cleanup.
- Provide personalized service to passengers, catering to their individual needs, preferences, and requests, including handling special needs such as dietary restrictions.
- Serve meals and beverages, ensuring a fine-dining experience, often including gourmet catering.
- Assist passengers with in-flight entertainment, Wi-Fi, and other services for comfort and enjoyment.
- Coordinate closely with the flight crew, catering staff, and ground operations for smooth service delivery.
- Monitor the cabin for safety issues or passenger concerns throughout the flight.
- Follow proper emergency protocols and assist passengers in case of evacuation or other critical situations.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion, especially when flying high-profile or VIP passengers.
- Conduct post-flight safety checks and prepare the aircraft for the next flight.
- Receive training and qualification under Part 135 and participate in some Part 135 charters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a corporate flight attendant.
- Culinary/chef background with fine dining and meal planning experience.
- Completion of FACTS, Flight Safety or equivalent FAA certified training program.
- Valid California Driver's License and minimum age of 18.
- Ability to pass FAA drug/alcohol screening and background check.
- Availability to fly on short notice (2-3 hour response if on standby).

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The position requires frequent stooping, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting (minimum 50 lbs.), and operating machinery with repetitive motions. The work environment includes working outdoors in all weather conditions and potential exposure to constant or intermittent loud noises, fumes, dust, and outdoor weather conditions.
