The University of Tennessee invites applications for a Second-in-Command (SIC) Pilot to operate multiple aircraft including jet and turbo-prop aircraft. The pilot will provide airplane transport to passengers, mail, freight, or for other purposes adhering to the flight plans and following all regulations and procedures of the federal government, University, and airport. The pilot will review information to ascertain factors such as load weight, fuel supply, weather conditions, flight route and schedule and logs information, such as time in flight, altitude flown, and fuel consumed. The pilot will also complete expense and other reports after completion of flights.
The pilot will perform other related duties as required including purchasing office/cabin supplies, stocking aircraft, and assisting the Chief Pilot with general office duties.
